what did you always dream of being when you were a child?

What did you want to grow up and be?
Did you become what you always dreamt of?
I had so many dreams of becoming so many things and now I'm studying to become a nurse, something completely different than what I ever though of.When I was a kid I wanted to become a fashion designer, an artist, an architect, or a model. Now most of those dreams seem crazy or I never acomplished the things I needed to do to become what I wanted to be. I never learned to sew, never had the money to create a portfolio to become a model and never finished the drafting courses to put me in the right direction to become an architect. I guess it's funny how we change our minds and evolve into something so different than what we origonally were.

My dream as a kid was to become a professional soccer player, but it became clear very quickly that my ambition far outweighed my talent. I am 39 years old now and have only recently realized that i want to be a website designer (which I have been doing for a couple of years now)

I guess I was a strange kid I never knew what I wanted to do, I wasn't the cleverest of kids and lacked self confidence so I guess I never thought I would be able to do much so I guess I never wished....:(

I remember telling my mom that I wanted to be a doctor when I grow up. So one day, while eating fried chicken for lunch, she grabbed what she called a wishbone, wished that I will become a doctor as i said, then pulled the wishbone apart.
Turned out that the wishbone didn't grant my wish!
Haha, no. I didn't pursue any course related to medicine. I finished Accountancy, very different frome being a doctor. I found science difficult for me during my school days, so medicine wasn't in my list when college came.
