Do you collect things as souvenir if you go somewhere? If I go somewhere on a vacation or in any tour, I like to buy things from that place as a reminder of that place.
Do you collect souvenir? If you do, what kind of things you like to buy as a souvenir?

It's a must for me to have something that will remind me of a tour, so most of the time I get a camera with me to take pictures of once-in-a-lifetime experiences. When I've got no camera, I buy souvenirs from shops or shells when I go to beaches.

I collect refrigerator magnets as souvenirs. They're easy to find, they don't break or wear out, they're pretty reasonably priced, and you don't need to dust them. They're the perfect souvenirs! I also now buy a small gift for my Goddaughter wherever I go, and that always varies.

Refrigerator magnets are so handy to carry that you don't have to be careful at all while puting in your bag. Otherwise packing is a pain to some things like showpiece.

Well, I guess that I am the kind of person that saves things. If I go on a trip and see a beautiful rock or small cactus then I will bring it back with me. I do not like to get rid of these things as they are good memories of the past.

may be rok and cactus are free or cheap but they are good things to have as a memory of particular place.

Oh yes - very much so! My partner always tells me off for buying "clutter" to mess up the house with - LOL - but I just can't resist it! I always buy mysef a pair of ear-rings wherever I go as they are my "passion", and usually at least two ornaments. I like to have memories to look back on of people and places that I have enjoyed.

Looking back to the memory lane is like you are travelling there once again.

I really dont. I am more into pictures of the places that I visit. I carry my camera everywhere. I love pictures and they will spark my memory faster than anything else about my vacations.

I like to get something as well. I do collect thimbles from different places. They are nice but can take up a lot of room over time. I've also gotten coffee cups or t-shirts. Those at least I can use as well as look nice. They aren't just dust collectors but servicable. Now my niece is getting a good collection of dolls from other places, especially other countries. Her grandparents will pick her up one whenever they go some place. I thought that was different.

Yes, some things are difficult to collect, because they just need too much place. But things like coffee cups and t-shirts are good as you can use them anyway.

I always like to take home a souvenir from places I have visited. If there is a beach nearby, I like to collect seashells or nice stones. Usually if I visit a city, I like to take home something associated with the city, even if it is only a fridge magnet.

well i enjoy collecting things from the places that i have been.. i dont really buy things because i want the things that i collect from souvenir to become sort of personal.. i mean i like to collect rocks and other stuff that i usually think of as interesting and that which i can be able to remeber the place with..
when i go to the moountains or places close to nature i collect rocks with different colors or shells or soemthing hard and concrete.. sands maybe.. then i go find a candle shop in that place or city and buy candles of different sorts.. i love it.

Yes, I do collect souvenirs. Before, I would collect key chains, small items, shirts, caps, etc. But now, I've trimmed it down to shirts and other decorative items. I get to wear the shirts wherever I go. The reason I collect souvenirs is I wanna be reminded of my different trips and the experiences I had. Whenever I see a souvenir, I get to recall my escapades and the things that transpired during that trip.

Once I used to collect tea spoons and postcards but they do take up a lot of space over a period of time. So a couple of years ago I switched to taking photos of the various places we visit and if possible get ourselves or friends in the photo. That I find brings back more memories and of course these days with a digital camera, they take up less space that every before. If of course we see something special and unique, then we will buy it which is what we did when we went on our big trip to Western Australia last year.
We actually bought some things which were indigenous to the area we were visiting and at the same time they will be useful.

Yes we do usually purchase some sort of souvenir when we go someplace. It doesn't have to be anything inparticular - just something that has the name of the place that we went on it. We have gotten stuffed animals for the kids, magnets, windchimes, hats, t-shirts, etc...

yes i collect souvenirs everytime i visit a new place. i often buy key holders or those little things the place sells which is native to that place only. I also buy t-shirts with prints of the place on it as give-aways to my friends. Souvenirs are good ways of reminiscing the times you visited new places.

Since we usually travel in our car and do not have alot of room I started collecting matchbooks. They are small and you can get them from every single place you go.
