Do you ever find yourself hitting refresh compulsively on MySpace because you've messaged someone you have more than a bit of interest in, and you're waiting on tenterhooks for them to message you back? Yeah, I just did that.
May be lame but you do it...don't you?

I know. I know. Hey, Gene Simmons plays bass with a pick. And Paul McCartney played with a pick live...

Seeing as how Iron Maiden is my favorite band, Steve Harris is obviously one of my favorite bassists. I play the guitar a lot like Adrian Smith, if I say so myself.

Your post made me smile. Well, can't blame you for hitting the refresh button ever so often. Just not too often I hope? =P I don't actually do that because it's usually the other way around... I don't really send messages to people unless they send a one first... Not unless it's important. Plus, I don't have the balls (pardon the word) to send a message to someone I'm into. I'm too much of a wuss to do that. Lol.

See, being a woman, you're allowed to be a bit of a coward--we're supposed to be the ones pursuing you, after all.
Coincidentally, I'd like to see your myspace

I think it's normal. Maybe it's a feeling of anxious, more over it's becoming some kind of habit. Well then, you're not the only one there. Count me in as well. :) Keep that F5 button busy.

Well I think I may be just a bit lamer because I've done that before but it hasn't been over someone that I was "interested" in...it was just a friend of mine. But I was bored so I guess that's a pretty good excuse. Most of the time I don't bother with the refresh button though because I'm on aol and it sends me an email when someone's sent me a message on myspace.

Yeah, not to sound a bit pompous, but I get quite a few messages, so i have a junk email address that i use to set up my myspace profile...
Glad I'm not the only one.

Patience has never been my sterling virtue, I'm afraid.

I often catch myself doing this too. I try to stop but it is just a bad habbit. Ultimately, I'll turn the monitor off and walk away for a few minutes just to stop myself from hitting refresh.
