I saw from the news last night (here in our country) about this martial arts called "Kalimasada" which originated in Indonesia. In the news, the practitioners demonstrated some of its powers by channeling or applying their spiritual force or the force of the universe into the object and make it strong and/or light depending on the gravity of the force applied to it. According to the practitioners, Kalisamada discipline could even cure/heal some ailments or diseases.
Some of the demos were making a few sheets of newspapers strong enough to carry a full adult human and dropping a lightbulb and not breaking it. The most fascinating demo that really caught my attention was their ability to channel an invisible force to push a person without touching him/her. It's like a show straight out of an anime (DragonBall came to mind)!
I must say wow! I want to learn Kalimasada now and hopefully with dedicated training I could bring forth fireballs from my hands. hehehe
What do you think?

I personally haven't read nor have watched a thing about "Kalimasad"....but wow it is really amazing!!!
Imagine you may be able to cure / heal ailments or diseases (wonder if it can also cure my summer alergies ... so itchy).
Kalimasad is more like a practice of MIND power and concentration (correct me if I'm wrong), since based on the examples that you had mentioned, it involves moving a thing or person without actually touching them, dropping a thing without even breaking it and that certain newspaper that can carry an adult person (question : does "carry" here means that the newspaper had floated in the air while the person is sitting on it or something?).
Kalimasada is I think one good practice and if and ever a person wants to go under this practice, he / she must have a good self-discipline and a balanced personality. Since knowing or using Kalimasada in a not-so-good manner can put that person and worst, everyone in danger.

During the interview to the practitioner, he mentioned that he get his powers/energy/force from the universe meaning from everything that surronds him - nature. I don't really know how for I have not yet practiced this art. I guess with proper training, anybody can do it.

I also saw someone practicing that martial arts here in our country. Not sure if it is also called Kalimasada. It was featured in one of the local station here and the host even tried it. I was really amazed when the host tried it for the first time and was able to drop a light bulb without breaking it.

Really amazing! It seems this martial arts can easily be learned. Imagine, a newcomer without proper training can already do it? Thanks.
