movies- what do you usually look for into a movie?

i wonder what do different people look for in a movie so that they'll watch it or probably say "oh, it's a good movie...try to watch it!". (different tastes from all of u are very much appreciated in answering this)

I love horror movies, but my favorites are the ones that I could actually see happening. I don't like the ones that involve "monsters" or some such idea. I also really enjoy movies which are based on a true story. It's great to watch a movie where you can empathize with the characters and you root for them to win in the end.

obviouslky we all look for something that holds our interest . what interests one will not neccesarily interest another , i love romantic comedies.they re funny with a touch of seriosness and a touch of romance , they are my favourite movies and i usually check to see if a movie is funny before i go to the cinema.

movies - They have to be interesting ultimately.
Number one quality is it should not bore.Secondly it has to do full justice to the subject it has chosen.These will make any movie interesting.

I like movies that make me think long after it's already over. I like ones that pull at my emotions, and ones that make my heart race in anticipation. Good action scenes and good computer animations are a plus. Favorites of mine are LOTRs trilogy, Deja Vu, Brokeback Mountain, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, and a bunch more I just can't think of :)
