Do you keep unused things just for sentimental reasons?

There are many things in our attics or store rooms that we no longer need but we find them difficult to dispose of because of their sentimental value? We have a small typerwriter, I think that was the first one we bought long time ago. It still works but it's just sitting there collecting dust. That's where my children have their first typing lessons.

I used to keep unused clothes and other things just because I've got memories from them, but looking at it now, I see it just takes up space in my room and has become very unpracticable to keep, so I gave away some of them already. I do am guilty of not throwing cards and other stuffs given by friends! I have two boxes of shoes containing them, and still growing!

Heheh. This makes me laugh. My husband calls me a packrat! I like to keep things... I mean, what if I need that receipt from Disneyland from 5 years ago?! LOL I have lots of clothese that I can't throw away or giveaway! :( I just hate to throw things away unless it's obviously garbage or whatever...
