Professional Organizers: Need One? Want One? Are You One?

With the advent of HGTV and The Women's Network and TLC there have been an explosion in the various cleaning, organizing, decluttering programs. And the professional organizer has become someone that a lot of people recognize.
So if you were given the chance, would you hire one? How much would you pay for the service?
My own dirty little secret is that while I am a type of corporate consultant organizer (I help businesses big and small streamline, re-organize, manage etc.) my personal home and life could desperately use some help and I'm seriously considering hiring a professional organizer.
My husband, who agrees that we are clearly not getting things done, hates the idea. He is freaked out by the through of some stranger "touching our stuff", and can't conceive of paying for such a serivce.
So what do you think? Is it worth it?

I think it all depends on how unorganized you are. I mean, I would love to have some come do this at my house, but since I am already pretty organized, I don't think it would be worth the money, so I am not going to. But people who really have major issues with organization should consider this I think!
