To tag, or not to tag?

This is the question.
When you post or comment to a post and click start discussion or post reply, it brings up the screen to add tags to your comment/post. Is this mandatory? I mean, does it add more credit to your earnings or is it just to locate the comments/post later on? Sometimes I add tags and sometimes I just click skip. I want to know if I'm slimming my chances out of more cash. Even if it' a penny, it's more. Thanks!

i am not sure if you get paid extra for tags. i do it anyway

i think that tagging doesnt add to your credits because u dont see any info in the earning section that how much hav you earned through tags... so tags earn u nothing....but it will help mylot to gruop up similar discussions...

i tag everytime cuz i think it gives me more money i think anyways the only thing i know fo sho is that u r 1 hot babe for reals i checked out yo profile and u r really really hot

Tagging is important. It tunes the search function. Try searching something here on mylot. Make sure to select 'mylot'. The more we tag the smarter it gets. Also, using creative tags places your posts in a variety of search responses. The more your posts are seen the more cheddah you get. kAAAChow!

It isn't mandatory, but it helps the whole site if you do. There aren't very many categories here, so tags make it possible to find topics you're looking for. I don't think you get paid for tagging, but I suspect that it's added to your overal credit with mylot.

well m a newbie so dunno wether tagging adds to the earnings...but if you tag a discussion you post really well then you surely get more replies...
maybe it adds up to the earnings too a bit.
but it is sooo damn annnnnnoying!
