Do you read Christian books?

I often subscribe to the books of John Maxwell and Max Lucado. They are great leaders and writers, workers of God that I am minitered with their books, very enlightening.

Not as often as I would like, I love to read. I've read all the Left Behind series and a few more of the LaHaye/Jenkins books such as "Are We Living in the End Times". I also like Frank Peretti - "This Present Darkness" and "Piercing the Darkness" are two of his.

Left Behind is a very inspiring and thrilling God-filled book, good you read and followed it through.

Even though I'm attending Jerry B. Jenkin's online school, The Christian Writer's Guild, I have never been able to get through his "Left Behind" novel. However, it is one of the books on my 2007 to-be-read list. He is a very good teacher of the writing craft.

I also reaad John Maxwell and a lot more even local authors, Christians are gifted to write so it's not boring to read. I can get a wisdom and also been ministered by so much books.

I love reading Christian fiction, especially Sci/Fi Fantasy novels. Books like Shadowmancer by G.P. Taylor or the Narnia Chronicles. There's hundreds of good reads by awesome Christian writers. I've started a list of books I'm going to read this year--at least one a month--at my blog http://gtargirls.blogspot.com It's a great challenge and I will read about 1 book a month. Anyone is welcome to join the challenge. I'm one book ahead of schedule. So far I've read Oxygen by Randy Ingermanson and The Nephilim Seed by James Scott Bell. Right now I'm reading "Out of the Silent Planet" by my favorite Inkling, C.S. Lewis.

I have read Purpose Driven Life and some teen books about God, Boy meets Girl, I kissed dating goodbye...very inspirational and full of wisdom about life which I can relate to.
