Does an employer have to offer medical benefits to ALL employees or can they discontinue benefits for some? The company I'm working for is discontinuing benefits for production agents (call center environment). I hear that floor support will be able to keep their benefits, but they are also production employees. They are not Staff or mgt. Can this be done?

unfortunately, I think it is legal. Company's can offer whatever they want and, as of late, more company's these days are headed this route. You can always check with your state labor board though....hope this helps...good luck ;)
