Hi guys, whats your comment about the traffic lights system being implemented in Davao city? - Some say that it cause more harm than good - Others say, the flow was much more better when there was no Traffic lights - Still others say that, its for the best. (We are just preparing ourselves for the anticipation of higher traffic in the future)

yeh, i think so too... but as a City, I think Davao needs to really implement one. well, your right the people are suffering (especially the taxpayers) my wild guess on the current system is that, yes the system is "high-tech", but what about the manpower? do we have competent people manning the system? How about repairs? Can we repair the system fast enough to not cause traffic.. my two cents.

it just adds more traffic thats what i think. they put those lights even in places that dont need them. like near davao mandaya hotel that street dont need those lights just a regular traffic aide will do if ever. Its like the motorist have to wait even in the other side there are no cars passing. and me as a pedestrian have to wait to cross even though there are no cars passing. *sigh*

it totally sucks, when it was not implemented the traffic is smooth going you can easily arrived at your destination. but with it, you have to spend 30 minutes - 1 hour, and the problem because it is computerized you really have to wait for your turn even though the other lane dont have any vehicles, they should have program it to which lane should be always busy so you dont have to wait ages for your turn.
