Yes, I believe in free speech, yes I believe in supporting individual rights BUT for these war protestors to PAINT the capitol steps?!??
This is an act of terrorism first, as it shows the terrorists and others that hate our country that even our own people will disrespect the place that we consider to be part of our national heritage.
Second this is something that will cost us, taxpayers, money to clean up. Yes you have rights to free speech, but no you do not have a right to vandalize. What are we teaching future generations?
I think the painting on the capitol steps is one of the most absurd things that I have heard Nancy Pelosi give her ok to.
How do you feel about the money you pay in taxes being shelled out to clean up after people who cannot act like responsible adults?

I was furious about this too, it was completely whack. The worst part is that the Capitol police were ordered to stand by and let them do it! They also rushed the building trying to take it over. They should have been arrested and locked up, but they probably would have liked that anyways. I wish I had been in town and I would have given them a peice of my mind.
Other protestors also spit on a veteran that had his leg blown off by an IED.

This is very stupid and childish. It is sad to see adults act this way. Plus a waste of our money. It should come out the people's pockets that are responsible for this act
