Have you ever fallen for a door-to-door scam?

A man came to my door selling magazines for the troops over seas or for the customer to keep for themselves. I decided to get a magazine for my kids. It was a 3 year subscription. This was back in the summer. On my receipt it stated that the order may take up to 120 days for arrival. Well, it never came. Have you ever bought anything from a company called Silver Hill Circulation? This was the company on the top of my receipt. I called the number, but it has been disconnected. Hmmm....

I checked the BBB site for the company and found a listing for a company out of Georgia. I don't know if this listing is the same exact company, but you should check out the link. May help you get your money back.

I reported them to the BBB. The BBB has the same number and address as I did on my receipt. Thank you though. I should be hearing something pretty soon.

Wow, I've never even heard of Silver Hill Circulation. I try and avoid things that seem off to me. It's just one of those feelings. I'd rather avoid it if I could. I'd probably research them online before I bought something from them. Have you tried looking up information on them online?
