Pasta recipe please!

Can anyone please send me a really good, tried and tested pasta recipe? I am planning to make one for a good friend who will be visiting me next week and it has to be really good because he is very particular about pasta. I would like to impress him. If anyone has an unusual but tasty pasta recipe out there, please do send it. Thank you!

1 box Fetticini Noodles
1 Jar Pesto Sauce
Medium Size Shrimp
grated Cheese
Cook Noodles, when almost done, add shrimp, I usually use about 1 pound frozen, let noodles and shrimp cook, when noodles are done, drain water, add pesto sauce stir, then put in bakeing dish, sprinkle with cheese and add a little bit of lemon juice cover and heat for 20 minutes. Serve with Garlic Bread
We love this recipe, and it is so very simple.
