Can you sleep at night even the light is on???

Do leave your lampshade/light ON before going to sleep or turn it OFF? I usually turn off the light before i'm going to sleep. I can hardly sleep if the light is ON. It seems i can see some shadow near me. How about you?

I sleep with a night light on so i don't step on one of the dogs if i have to get up and go to the bathroom.

It doesn't matter to me whether the light is ON or OFF when I sleep. But I do feel I sleep better when the lights are OFF. =) It relaxes the eyes. =)
