Has anyone read 'Dark Horses'?

Heather Cato wrote this book, based in New Zealand. It is the story of three girls, one of which suffers abuse, the other comes from a rich family with a happy front, and the other has moved from New Zealand. Their stories as you enter deeper into the book are heavily intertwined. The book is really written for teenagers, but it touches on a variety of adult issues, and all the girls become bound by their horses. It's a beautiful story.
