why do people lie while chatting!!!!!

Thats a thing i have encountered so many times but always think y they should lie...lie about there age, their name and so many things...if they dont want to tell they can just tell the other person that they wont tell but can still chat and when they feel comfortable they can tell but why lie....

Be practical. Now a days lieing is one of the part of our daily life. Every where and every part you saw the someone lieying. To get better impression or to get close attachment everybody is lieing.

i don't know why people lie while chatting. probably coz they know that if they tell lie then their personality can be hidden and they can exaggerate themselves as a person. they can state many qualities which is enough to impress someone and may be that they don't have those qualities. so they lie. have a nice day.
