Why do so many people go to psychics these days?

Recently there has been a massive cult of psychics, heaps of people head off to them in droves. Are we all sad and insecure about the future? Have psychics started to replace religion for the modern mind? What do you out there all think? M.

we all live in a state of uncertainty and vulnerability. Somehow psychics ease our minds or prepare us for the worst(I won't go there). We seek predictability and invincibility to defy nature's vicious cycle. It's also fun, though, getting some glimpse into our love life. That's what most young people are crazy about.
