stupid people and stupid answers annoy the feck outta me!

I know everybody has this problem, especially those who have given me their weighed opinions. I know how everybody hates it. I just want to vent a little too.
What I really dislike is when I open mylot, read the response and get responses that is totally irrelevant to my questions. When I post a discussion, I usually include questions, very specific questions. If I do not post any questions, then I won't expect any intelligible answers. But I so hate it when I do post questions and people answer with "no, i don't go there" or "no I don't know" or "I don't like to talk about chocolate" or "I don't like to talk about religion".
My feeling is, if you don't like talking about religion, or do not like chocolate, then don't click on the post? Right? Or look for topics of your interests. It's right up there, second from left, next to "top discussions".*CLICK THAT* Don't just answer for the sake of getting a few cents. Don't answer if you do not have any opinions. I like both +ve and -ve opinions, I don't mind if anyone disagrees with me, I just don't like seeing things such as "I DON'T KNOW" or worst "I DON'T CARE". *curls into a foetal position, rocking back and forth crying 'make it go away, make it go away..' over and over again*

I know what you mean. I also get a *little* frustrated when I start a discussion, give a specific question and what kind of answers I am looking for.. and then people come in and do the complete opposite or do not answer the question at all. I understand if someone gets confused but I see it from the same people in almost every discussion. I would much rather someone ask me to clarify what I mean than to answer completely off base and leave me staring blankly at the screen wondering what the heck they mean.
So yes, I know what you mean!

I so could not agree more with you. Nothing irks me more than to open up one of my discussions and find something there not pertaing to the subject or 2 uninteligible words. Do they really get paid for that garbage? I truly hope that mylot looks at the negative remarks that are flagged for them and deletes those peoples responses. I like to find quality discussions to leave my opinion at, you don't like it that's fine. So people if you actually read other peoples posts before you post your own, if you come by my discussions and you have nothing but a 2 word sentence to contribute, please, move on, if you come tone of my sidcussions and leave something that has no bearing on the subject at hand expect a negative response. That's my opinion. Sorry for the rant also. Good luck to you here at mylot.

It's okay. Ranting is good for the soul :P But I agree, I hope mylot doesn't pay them. Generally, everyone I know in here who are friends give very good answers. I appreciate their views and outlook on my discussions/problems and what not. You;d think that the others would read and take it as an example right? Afterall, quality posts = more friends = more replies & +ve ratings = more money. Do they not get that?

i can totally relate with you hopefoo. There are really some users who would respond to posts only to say "i don't care", "don't know". You really said it right, why respond if you know nothing. The purpose of discussion is to share your opinion or ideas, and if you have no ideas to share, then don't respond as you are only messing up the entire post.

Man, you put it better than I did! That's just the thing. If you look at my discussions history there are a lot of "i don't know"s. Such an anti climax cause i always look forward to feedback from people, only to find an "I don't care" wtf! Cute cat! It's smiling! lol

*patting back and handing tissues* Don't feel bad it does happen to us all. I decided since I can't stop it, I just rate a - and move on to a real response. I don't know why they bother, I don't think mylot pays them for those comments. They may get a point but I don't think they get any money. I used to report them but now I usually just rate and go on. Feel better... ;)

Ooh good, somewhere to share a vent about stupid annoying people, always a favorite place! Isn't it just so annoying, how hard is it really to find something constructive to say, or to leave well alone if you don't have anything to say, really what is the point!? There are plenty of stupid posts on here that really only deserve stupid and pointless answers, why can't those people save their non-comments for them???

i can understand you,..worse is when some people get nasty and sarcastic for no reason..yes we can all agree to disagree but niot be nasty about it or just post like you say DUJNO..ihave friends that sometimes post stuff i have no answers to..ijust go torate id=f i can..if i can;'t answer i leave well alonje..btw chill..i am here now lol..zhidao?

Everybody has this problem ???? i dont have such problem yea .... lol ... anyway if you that unhappy about the discussion then don't respond , create discussion yourself and get silly respond, you can don't see it . as for you don't like everything in mylot , then why are you here ? So just don't keep grumblin and keep on posting yea ...

And here I was thinking I was the only one who got "I don't know" responses.
When I post a question or ask for an opinion I look forward to reading their view on the subject. If they have one. If not don't bother.....

Stupid persons do stupid things. They do almost everything stupidly. They talk stupidly, they behave stupidly. This their mindset. You cannot change them so easily. They remain stuck to their mental blockhole. They are boring, they are annoying. You cannot stay with them any longer.
Many people dilike them and many people do not care to dislike them. They usually do not know their stupidity, they accept it as usual. It is not only some people are stupid, they are a social aberration. But there are many who have developed that habit of this social aberration. It is also not that only illeterate people are stupid. Many stupid people are well-educated but education has not wiped off their stupidity. It remains with them. But stupid people can be educated of their stupidity if they dare to get educated.

I totally agree with hopefoo.So many 'abusers' are wasting the discussion space in the discussions simply by typing one liners like yes, no, i agree and i dont know. I hate one-liners with zero opinion or any factual reasoning back ups at all. I feel that they are trying to meet up with the quota, of typing as much posts as possible, perhaps, being driven by the earnings, which is supposed to be an incentive, or extra motivation for us.
I know that one liners doesn't pay at all, why? That is because even i, have experienced postings that worth less than 1 cents depite my efforts in typing quality responses. What happened was that i typed like 12 responses 2 days ago, hoping that i would generate like few 10 cents, but it ended up that i only gained 7 cents.
That totally explains why some posts doesn't even worth a cent. like i was suggesting in another discussion, perhaps MyLot Admin should consider negative earnings for users, who simply just want to type for the sakes of the earnings. I think i should start giving negative ratings for one liners. (was being too lenient to them) Yet again, i want more responses for my discussions, and i want to remove non-contributive answers, what a dilemma.

it irks me too-I hate the stupid comments that are one or two letter replies,when I post topics, I want real answers, you know?

true. i even experienced having this for an answer: djgjdkfodj, or swswswsw and such. and it pisses me off.
people people, if you don't know anything about the topic, there's no point in responding since you don't know anything about it. unless you wanna know more, you can freely ask if such a topic interest you and yet, you haven't heard about it yet.
common sense is highly needed here!

Once again I understand what you are saying. But man how many post like this is out there? I see every day where there is post after post about this. Seems like mylot would get tired of seeing this all the time. Sorry mark me - But really post like these are not much better.

You sure have my sympathy on this one. I don't vent much any more because I've been on so many different sites from time to time and see the same thing all the time. I do get frustrated, but usually try to laugh it off and just go on to the next post or article. There are people who will never pay attention to the rules, or even to common courtesy, and it seems there are more and more of them all the time.
