In 1987 there was two millitary coups in Fiji, against an Indian majority but Fijian led Government. But over a period of ten years things normalised but quite a lot of Indians had migrated. In 1999 an Indian was voted in as PM, migrant Indians thought they had made a bad deal in migrating overseas but the table turned the very next year as the Indian gov was overthrown in an unsuccessfull coup. Migrating overseas was not such a bad idea, and a resurge of brain drain occured and then the surprise events of 2006..... Where is the future of Fiji Idians ???
