Why not have separate wicket keepers for both forms of cricket ie
Dhoni as keeper in one dayers for his explosive bating
Karthick the keeper in tests for his better temprament.
What are your views on this arrangement? I am sure it would work in favour of the whole team.

Yeah i think we need specialists in every position whether it be an opening batsman or a spinner or a pace bowler, whether ut may be a middle order batsman or a wicket keeper
Introduction of DInesh karthik has been really good...I think heis the appropraite man for TEst matches while MAhendra singh dhoni is a master when it comes to the shorter version of the game

u mean that a regular batsman should be replaced for kartik or dhoni... we should have a keeper and a regular batsman... we cant rely on wc to fulfil the role of a batsman........ what do u say??????????

karthick is a good batsman so may be he will work fine in tests...but dont underestimate dhoni's temperament he can play both ways aggressive and defensive so maybe its a 50 50 chance.... both can work in both forms of game.... the person that benefits from this is indian cricket team as it now has 2 quality keepers
