Is valentine's day too commercialized?

we can see there are quite a number of advertisements and
articles about valentine; fashion for valentine, best couples,etc. Aren't the media emphasize it too much. It's just a simple
day to celebrate with your beloved. It's not necessary that
we express our loves through expensive gifts or whatever.
When the media start writing about love during valentine, I
feel as though they mean people only express their love on
this particular day.

Yes, you don't think so? The reason of Valentine's day is goign away year by year. Now it is only a good day for selling and shopping. The problem is that people need to buy something for this day to feel weel and not different fom the others.
