I can only say with all the different fish and ways to cook it, they have no clue how good it can be. I've had fish of many different kinds and cooked differently in at least a dozen or so countries as well as here in the USA. Can't say I have found any I didn't like. In fact in Wisconsin many years ago I use to travel there in the Dells and fish. We camped and cook fresh caught fish over a camp fire. What a way to enjoy fish.

I love fishing but I usually practice catch and release but in the early spring when the water is still really cold I like to keep some trout or a salmon as they taste much better when their flesh is firmer and the cold water seems to do that.
We eat fishing at other times, store bought but I don't always like that way my wife cooks it because she drowns the poor fish in liquid and I prefer it to be griled.

Since we live near the coastal areas, fishes are abundant here, so we are used to eating it. There's no doubt that fish's meat is a lot healthier than other meats. We can't force others though to eat it, because those depend on their tastes.

I love eating fish especially for a health conscious person like me. It's a good source of protein.

I saw this on TV many years ago, it was on a program called Gunsmoke. it was a Western, Any how the town deputy went into the town restaurant, because there was a fresh fish on the menu, when his order was brought to him there were four beautiful pan fried fish, take them back and bring me some other one, again and again this happened the deputy and the waiter were at each others throats, finally they called in the Marshall. Whats the problem He keeps ordering fish, and when I bring out the plate he says no bring me the other ones. there are no other ones, The deputy said Marshal I ain't eating no fish that don't got no head on them. You mean to tell me you eat the heads of fish said the Marshall with disgust, heck no said the deputy, then why so you need to have fish with heads on when you do not eat them, Well it the only way I know to make sure they aren't giving me no mermaids.

No, I don't eat fish, but not because I can't stand its smell or because I don't like its taste, infact I'm vegetarian and I've decided not to eat animals anymore for ethic reasons.
Yes, you are right, fish is better than meat for the health, and I know health is important, but to me there are more important things, and so, if I can live without killing animals.... it's only my viewpoint, nothing less nothing more.
