hello friends
our new cricket team selction head, Wengsarkar -what do you say about his work? He did the best thing to give a warm warning to Chappel and then to Sehwag, Pathan. Also, the good thing about bringing back Ganguly. I think he is more a doer than a speaker. What you say? Good heavens that kiran more is gone!!

To the more younger members of mylot community I want to say this. The colonel, as vengsarkar is called, has never bowled playfully for other batsmen even in the nets for the sake of match practice. And he was selfish during his playing days, I myself have watched his selfish 95 in a one dayer against.....pakistan I think. He didn't bother to increase the runrate in the slog overs but only concentrated on reaching his hundred. To me, it is better to have non cricket played/playing persons with true love for cricket to hold such posts than people like vengsarkar. He may be functioning well now, but you cannot make a leopard change its spots. To me Kiran more is better, because, atleast he never displayed selfish attitudes on field.

I don't know about his past but he is definitely doing a great job as of now. And Kiran More was probably one of the worst selectors ever for India. He didn't have the guts to take important decisions. He took ages to remove Ganguly when he was playing badly and that too because of Chappell. And removing Ganguly was the best thing that could have happened to him as he is a much improved batsman now. Now when we look at Vengsarkar, he didn't take long to remove Sehwag and he also brought back Kumble. More never bothered to even consider Kumble and he also insulted Syed Kirmani once calling him a goalkeeper. As you might be knowing, Kirmani was definitely better than More.
And in exceptional cases, Leopards do change their colours (not literally).

Hi, Nishanth, what I am trying to say here is people without regional aspirations, true lovers of cricket and it's improvement in general and non players should be there as selectors. And no politicians and industrialists as well. I have quoted about vengsarkar just as an example. And almost all of his generation players were like that only, barring a few. Understand that we just have to be wary about them always, just in case. As you have rightly said, syed kirmani is significantly better than Kiran more, in wicket keeping and off field behaviour.

i think he only selecting players on da merit basis and there recent forms in domestic ties ,the best thing about him was bringing ganguly back on performance bnasis and kicking out sehwag for his poor form

i think that he is doing good to indian cricket team
my resting the players who are not in form
and bringing back the experienced player
like ganguly and lakshman and zaheer back
into the team and boasted the team with experience
and giving warning to all the players that
their place is not permanent with out playing
