well almost every1 knows about this guy, but to my surprise some Indians think of him as a traitor, i myself heard some calling him bad words, is it just because he let the sub continent divide among hindus and muslims which was unbearable for the extrimist hindus who considered the Indian land to be holy mother's body or something and as a result of that some extremist maniac mudered him.....i am not an Indian but i wanted to know what they think about it

Well man it is not true. People in India have great love for Mahatama Gandhi. He is being perceived as the father of nation in India. There would be some people who who would be extremist and those can be anywhere are everywhere. He gave all of us the best gift of our life e.g., freedom and for that our generation s will be indebted to him.
