Current World no.1 and the most admired tennis player, Roger Federer has recently won another Grand Slam Title. Now the thing is, can Roger Federer win the next Grand Slam title, that is the French Open? Well, Rafael Nadal, the last year's winner would be waiting for him there.

If Rafael Nadal is not 100%, I think taht Federer can win. I do not see anothe rone that can beat Federer, also on clay. Maybe Almagro can be dangerous, but not this year.

if it was to be a played on a clay ...Nadal had a better chances to win it ... if its a hard one ... Federer is the one who is gonna get it ... check the records of Nadal vs Federer... Nadal has taken his toll on clay pitches

If its a Finals match between Nadal and Federer, I think that it could be another Grand Slam for Federer because Nadal seems to be performing poorly in his recent matches and Federer's performance has not slipped any bit. He's still the best player around.... but then again, Nadal IS the king of clay courts.

Everyone hopes he'll win. Sure, this must be playing on his mind too & might be a strong motivating factor. With 10 Grand Slam titles under his belt & less competitors to challenge him even on a bad day, a motivation such as this will be very helpful.
Nadal is quite comfortable in clay, agreed. But he doesn't have the level of consistency that Federer maintains. And having played him in last year's final, i'm sure Federer has a way to sort him out.
Yes, it's a different kind of challenge for him having been brought up on clay courts. But with his coach Tony also evincing special interest in French Open, i think Federer will conquer yet another peak in the tennis mountain.
