SL is always crashing! Well no, that's not strictly true, but they do have a lot of issues, mainly due to the vast number of people playing at any one time (upwards of 30,000 now). If it's down to you computer specs, there isn't a great deal you can do about it other than improving them. You do need a good processor and a fair bit of RAM, plus a good internet connection. You won't get very far on dial-up. A decent graphics card is needed too, although to a certain extent you can compensate for that by turning the graphics down within the game. You may just have picked a time when the site was having problems, or was updating. Have you been back and tried again and have you also made sure your pc meets the minimum specifications? If you can get in, it's well worth it. I love the place and the only reason I'm not there now is because the site is having issues ... again (lol).

I've had issues with it too. Seems like something different everytime I try to log on. One time my character started walking and wouldn't stop. She walked right off the island out over the water and just kept going... Was kinda funny, but at the same time, not. Another time, it kept logging me out. I'd be in the middle of doing something and poof, the window is gone. I think I'm gonna wait a few weeks and then try again. Looks like they're actively addressing some bugs right now.

i was just reading about thuis today in my womans magazine.there was a report about a woman who was earning £25,000 a year. it sounded intersting , well the money did , lol . i must have a look at the site next time i get a minute .

I have never heard of that kind of site before, but it sounds really pretty cool...have you tried to get it up and running again? I hope you'll be able to...I think I'm going to go see if I can find it and have a look... :)
