anyone has any interesting stories to share about the generation gap in their families. Here is my experience. every morning my parents put on slow old music at top volume. me being a die hard rock. metal fan get really irritated with the music. to make things worse my parents sometimes sing along with it. and finally to add salt they say that there was good music only at that time. friends please share your experiences

In my business, I have 5 young laborers who like listening to modern rock music. We turn the sound system on for the whole day and I usually play classical music or music from the early 60s up to the Beegees. They all frown and look at each other wishing they could change the music. One day I went out to attend to some business matters, they took the liberty of changing the music and start singing and dancing along with it. I came back unannounced and caught them unaware but when I saw that it changes their mood, I let them do it but keep the volume down. The funny thing I am beginning to like the modern music too.
