I am 40.2 weeks pregnant and keep getting sharp pains in the front pelvic joint. i wish it were contractions but it is defiantly the bone. They have been that bad that I have not been able to walk or lay in bed comforatably or even pick my 16 month old son up. But generally its a niggling pain.
Did anyone else get these and what did you do to ease the pain?

I had pelvic pain the last three months with both of my pregancys! it hurts. What worked for me and is helpful to bring the baby down as well, is I would stand with my legs shoulder length apart and sway back and forth. Also, Getting down on all fours and stretching backward and moving hips in a circular motion help, too. Also try not to stay in one position for a long time when sitting or laying down.

I know how you feel. I just got over that, I was pregnant with twins and in the forth month I could hardly walk or pick up my daughter. The doctor told me it was because my pelvic bone was seperating which is completely normal. If the baby is really low than the really isn't much to help. It almost felt like I had a really good workout or had pulled a muscle. It went away aroung the 7th month. I went abought a maternity belt to help take the pressure and weight off. It did help relieve alot of the uncomfortableness. The are only like $30.
Bare through it.It will pass, oh and if you sleep with a pillow between your legs that halped the most. Because it keeps you pelvic bone straight.
I hope that helps you! And CONGRTAS!

You have to consult a doctor. Yours is an isolated case. Something must be wrong somewhere. The doctors know what must be done. Your life may be at stake if you don't act now.

Yea I had somthing similar to that pain. Taking a warm bath acually helps. I Know theytell you not to take warm baths that much but trust me it helps!! I used to get the worste pains thru my legs in the middle of the night. I would just bite myteeth together and try not to scream and pound my hands on the bed in the worste pain. I Never felt a pain in my life like it before. Hope everything works out for the best!! And Good Luck with the new baby!
