Winter, finally, where's my coat?

Well, it is finally winter here in the eastern part of Virginia. Up until a couple of weeks ago, people were still wearing shorts and tank tops on certain days. The only thing I have been wearing is a thin jacket. We finally had a little winter weather, and I had to dig out my coat. I only wear it a couple months of the year in this area. When I was younger, it seemed like we had longer winters with more severe weather, and a lot more snow. Our winter is strange, some days it is cold enough to wear that winter coat and two days later, a sweater is sufficient. I am not a winter person, though I do think snow and ice on the trees can be beautiful. I like a little winter weather. It makes me realize how much I love the spring and fall. How do you feel about the weather in your area? Do you think global warming is taking away your winters?
