Is all rounders neccessary for the India's World Cup team?

i think india needs some all rounders like hussey and clarke and andrew symonds

it is not question of confidence ,i think india must have allrounders .india needs alrounders .allteams have their allrounders .they are very genuine .for example ,kallis flintoff etc.india have one allrounder that is pathan , he must be included in the team of world cup .india should give new chances to new ones .

all rounders are very important in the context of the world cup. all the good teams in the world cup have quality all rounders. india on the other hand makes up with part time bowlers. lets hope these perform well in the world cup.

i dont think that it is necessary to include any new players atleast for this world thats bcoz we have got many experienced players... the only thing is that they all have to perform well to win this world cup

yes definetly yuvraj is a kinda of all rounder bt the block buxter pathan has faded a lot a lot was xpected frm him bt he didnt liv up to our expectations may be he has to develop his form n we should find more all rounders to boodt our morale

Yes i think all rounders are the need of the time right now...We have only one all rounder for now i.e. Irfan Pathan but he too is not in form right now I think we need more of the fast bowling all rounders as we have many batsman who can bowl some spin but what we really lack is all rounders of the quality of jacques kalluis and andrew symonds and flintoff.

The Indian team or rather other team choosing to take all rounder does not mean the teams have no confidence in the batsmen or bowler. Its that every team wanted player to perform in both ways to get runs when the batsmen fail or take wickets in helping the teams. i feel the all rounders will be palying main role for this world cup.

india definaltely needs an all rounder ,everyteam now has genuine allrounders in there team ,we also need in the mould of Kallis,symonds,oram and flintoff.The best suited allrounder for india is Pathan, its high time when everyone should start considering him as an allrounder rather than wicket taking bowler as he has performed with bat everytime when he has failed with ball, i think he has contributed india if not with ball than with bat, for me he should be in da team coming and bowling second change bowler and coming as one down batsman

yes allrounders do play a critical role, espesialy in ODI format of game, they can be handy in situation were ur bowlers and batsman fail to deliever!!

I feel a good allrounder will certainly boost India's chances in teh world cup. As allrounder gives more balance to tha side as the captain has more options in the bowling attack and gives more depth to our batting. Beides captain will be able to field team with 5 genuine bowlers or play with 7 batsmen. I think Irfan Pathan is good canditate for this position as been effective with bat and bowl in past. I feel if he gets his natural swing against srilankans & bowls well and get some wickets he should be included in world cup squad as he has lot of potentiala s allrounder & has been doin gwell with bat.

yes we too hav some good allrounders like yuvraj,pathan,sachin,etc.... the fact is that they should maintain their present form...they really played well against the indies....we hav the potential to win the world cup..
