If humans evolved from monkey's/apes, why are they still here?

Not all of them evolved. As some apes migrated, ones with certain characteristics suited for the climates they moved to survived, and became more humanlike. In other areas, there was no environmental pressure to evolve, so they stayed pretty much in ape form.

good answer,but have other species evolved while the same species from other climates have stayed the same?

Yes. You can often see this in island populations which can differ quite a bit from their mainland relatives. Does an emu look like a bluebird? They're very different (size, color, ability to fly), but they're both birds. Their ancestors moved into different regions, and millions of years later we have different species.

I guess only a small part of the apes evolved.others still continue as apes.The smaller part evolved into humans.
