Every day when I come to this site, I always look at my unresolved discussions and resolve all of the ones I started the day before. The next thing I usually do it go to make new discussions. I guess after sleeping I have things on my mind to start new discussions about. What do you do first thing when you come to mylot?

Man, this is going to sound bad after your lovely idea of resolving unresolved topics first *laugh* But I just realized, upon thinking it over, that the first thing I do when I get to the site each day is check my earnings, lol! It is such an exciting time of the day for me to find out what I earned for the day's previous work, so I always look at that the very first thing. Then I start replying to my friend's topics, generally, or else work on replying back to some of my old topics and giving out best responses and such things. It depends on how I feel right then. I haven't been posting many new topics lately, but when I do post new ones I almost never do it early in the day. I do it when I am tired of doing other things. Today I did post a topic almost first thing because I really felt the need to get some positive stories flowing my way. But that may be the first time ever that I've posted a new topic early in the day. ^_^

First thing I do is to go through all my friends discussions and answer as many as I can. They answer mine so its only fair that I answer some of theirs. Then I try to start a couple of my own new discussions. I've found if I start too many they just get buried under all the others. My unresolved discussions I usually check once a week, that gives everyone a chance to answer them. But If I dont recieve many replies I will leave my topics open until i have about at least 6 replies before picking a best responce.

First thing I'd do is approving friends if there's any. Then, check mail (also if there's any). Then Start responding discussions from my friends in one window and answer if necessary to the responses to my discussions on another window. This saves me time.

My first stop is links I have saved in folders, posts, and profiles I wanted to reply to but did not get around to reply to. I plan on going through the profiles of all my friends and responding to what I can, as well as responding what I can to on all my interests, I figured this would help my friends out, help myself, out and keep me busy. - DNatureofDTrain

Hi it depends really -- like for eg :- if i have a topic in mind, i'll start a new discussion as soon as i log in (before i forget it.LOL), If i'm expecting some PM's - i'll check them first, If i really want answers to a question i posted if i'm in a fix about something - i'll go straight to it first to see what advice my friends here have given me .. so, it totally depends.. AND..sometimes on my mood - like if i'm in a mood to post responses or to read responses to my post :) I bet you didn't think anyones answer would be so complicated, now did you ? LOL. Nice topic.

I know I should do the unresolved discussions, but they remind me too much of homework lol. I usually check out my email and respond to my friends discussions first. Then I scroll around looking for posts that catch my interest. In between in short sporadic bursts, I do the unresolved discussions.
