What is the LAMEST excuse you have given your boss/teacher for being late for work/school? Mine was when I told my teacher I had to return home because I accidentally wore the wrong left shoe! I can't believe she actually believed that. LOL

Ahaha! Poor taxi driver got blamed for somebody else's non-creativity.. LOL Just kidding! I usually walk to work because I used to live a few meters from the office. =D

For work I'm rarely late. If i will be late its either arranged, due to bad roads/tire issues or because I slept in and I always call in to say hey I'm going to be late because and give the true reason.
Once or twice I've been late because i had to take an animal to the vet or put them back in.
My most unbelievable but TRUE reason for being late to class in college was...I used to drive to college and it was a test day. I was nervous, it was snowing and icey. There was a red light ahead and the bus infront of me stopped. I touched the breaks (i was going about 20kmph) and i ended up spinning in several 360's around to the front of the bus...hitting the bus a tree a telephone pole and a parking meter before coming to a stop. Needless to say I was late because I hit a bus. I was stupid to go take an exam after a car accident like that...and lucky to have walked away.
