actually to love someone u have to be his/her friend first and then only u can drive smooth in ur life.

ummm you can definatly argue with it. but as friends you know entirely what kind of person they are. and you have respect for them... and those are good points to a healthy relationship. Me and my hubby met in high school, and dated 8 years later, and now were married. i think we do well= )

I think friendship is the foundation for a loving relationship. They both need trust, honesty, and openness, if you don't get this kinda stuff as friends, a loving relationship would be all the more harder.

I think that love is a subset of friendship. My husband has always been my best friend. If that weren't true, I doubt we'd have stayed together for 30 years like we have.
