The environment.......do you really give a damn about it.??

There's always been a lot of talk abbout the environment this and the enivironment that and how its deteriorating and what're our duties under such circumstances...i just wanna know, on the grass-root level, does anyone really think about all this? Do you care to use environment-friendly fuels for your vehicles are are one of the many who think everything's gonna be alright eventually?

I'm actually overwhelmed by how many people dont' care about what is happening to the earth on the account of human behaviors. It bothers me that educated people try to deny the realities of global warming. It scares me that people are reluctant to take action. I try to be 'green' within my limitations, and I feel that any effort counts. For example, I drive a car with good gas milage, I recycle (all the time), I buy organic when possible, I keep my thermostat low, I reuse packaging and bags, I bring my own bags to the supermarket and so forth. I don't think everything is going to be alright eventually. Scientists are saying that the effects of global warming are going to be around for centuries. now, that is scare to me!
