I'm only involved in 5 and I'm a moderator of one of those. I used to have a lot more but I found that the groups were too busy for me to keep up with unless I found less busier groups or if I sat at the keyboard for at least 4 hours a day. I've never had a problem with Yahoogroups - sure it's annoying when they do "maintenance" and the site goes down for a few days with a huge backlog but I've met so many wonderful people there who have the same interests [or at least one of them!] as me.

it's good to find others with mutual interests...it keeps life from being completely dull and boring...in the area I'm in, I can't find work...nothing within walking distance I can get to safely...so sadly online is the only connection I have to the outside world...thanks for your comment dearheart
