i have three kids age 9,5 and two and a half,a girl and two boys,i adore them so very much ,sometimes i cant take my eyes off them,i still cant beleive theyre mine.i want to be with them all of the time and feel sooooo proud of them.dont get me wrong, theyre not perfect, far from it,theyre just kids, funny, noisy, exhausting, beautiful kids.everything i do is for them and all of my thoughts are of them.my ex,their dad thinks im a total freak.what do you think?

I agree with you, most parents I think feel this way! i am almost scared to let my 5 yr old go to pre k! I am so afraid of something happening to him, I have a 5 yr old and 1 1/2 yr old and one on the way! I adore them and the very thought of losing them its upsetting. I think most parents feel this way! you are not a freak!

We sometimes misteak our overprotectiveness for love. We have to have high expectations from our children to help them do their best.

I think love is the very heart of it. this makes us take great care and expend much energy raising them with discipline and love to be great humans.
