Do you use deoderant or anti-perspirant?

In the winter I use a deodorant but in the summer I need something with both. If it is really cold and I don't think I am going to be sweating I will go a day without wearing it just to give my pores a rest. Most of the time I go with Secret or Soft 'N Dry.

Even in the cold sometimes I'll sweat. Or at least I used to. The deo I am using now keeps me dry even though it isn't an anti-perspirant.
Secret and Soft and Dry and Degree all seem to work fine for a day or so, but then they just stop working. And god forbid if I wear a synthetic fabric!

I used to use LUSH's Oxeo, too, Tere, but I had a problem with it staining my clothes (which is too bad, because it worked pretty well and I liked the smell). I wound up switching to men's Mitchum anti-perspirant for a while (because it was what my SO used and it was there...) and now I use Dove's invisible solid--the one with that commercial where they ask the women to turn their shirts inside out. I really like it. It doesn't have much of a smell and it keeps my armpits feeling nice.
I've heard the same thing about anti-perspirants being bad for you, but honestly I sweat so much that any health risk is worth not having pit stains in every shirt I wear.

I've tried that Dove invisible solid and it just doesn't keep me dry or smelling good or my white shirts white. I guess we all have different body chemistries. I'll stick with the Oxeo for now, but maybe in the summer I'll need an alternative.

I was using anti-perpirants for years, but I still had sweating problems. Then I found a great deoderant and I don't even sweat that much anymore. I've been trying to find an alternative to anti-perspirants because they are supposed to be bad for you.

I'm boring. I use Lady Speedstick anti-perspirant. Right now I think I'm using "orchard fresh" or something weird like that. It works for me, though, and that's all I care about.
