Paris, a good place to propose?

Hi everyone, I've just recently booked a weekend away in Paris (france) and would live to hear yer tips regarding places to avoid, how to get around, the best bars that play dance music etc.
I planned to make it a romantic getaway as I was considering proposing to my girlfriend, or is Paris to chessy nowadays.
Would espically welcome female opinions on their ideal proposals and advice please lads on how you've done and if its gone well.

My friends went there several times, when we were stationed in Germany, Honestly you cant go wrong, at night on the eifell tower or in front of it.

I think that sounds wonderful, it sounds very romantic but remember if a girl is truly in love it isn't how or where you propose to her its just the fact that you did and that you let her know how much you care in a very sincere way...
