A few days ago I received news that my godson is not being allowed to come home from Iraq.
He has been over there for a very long time, his woman left him and took his son, he has escaped death a few times, and he was scheduled to be home already.
Our wonderful government decided it was a good idea to keep the boys over there longer so now he is looking at being there for another 6 months to a year.
This really has me bothered and I really needed to vent about it and hear from others in the same situation.
I think he (and others) have been through quite enough. If they need more solders out there so bad, then maybe its time to bring in some fresh troops and let the ones who were supposed to be returned home, come home.
I dont really understand this whole thing anyway?
Personally, I feel, when 9/11 happened and when all them f%&kers in Iraq were out in there streets clapping about it, we should have striffed the whole damn country and got rid of it.

I'd be happy to take a look at your posts and see if there are some I can reply to. I think you're on my friends list because you are one of my referrals. I do a friend invite for all of my referrals.

I think that any women that leaves their man when he goes to war is one messed up person and needs some serious mental help.
She'll get her just deserves along life. What goes around comes around.

I am sorry to hear that your Godson is stuck over there. I am sorry for everything he has gone through. I can only imagine how he feels. I am sure that he knows you support him and that helps him through all of the rough times. I wish him a safe return.

Oh thats for sure he knows I am always here for him. We have always had a father/son type of relationship. I am so proud of the way his life is going now.
Thanks for your kind words. I hope he comes home soon.

Hi,
I am so very sorry to hear your news. No I am not in that situation. A relative did 8 yrs. in the service back in the 80's. Ironically we were always told by our gov't 'the work the services are doing now will prevent major war in the area as we progress into the next century.' i was skeptical then. our gov't has young men and women at their command and they are all considered federal property. i hate thinking of a human being as property. i hope that your Godson can try to be strong. i doubt if I could though.Vent whenever you need too!

I dont really understand our government lately. We were so quick to take controll of this land from the indians (I am part indian), why cant we take back controll of it now? Are we really so weak that we can only win fights against those who cant really defend themselfs?
Joe is being very storng about this and is hanging in there. It's got to be very hard for him to stay there especially since he volenteered.
