Pen or Pencil

Which do you prefer in your daily life ? I have seen in many movies and soaps, Americans using the pencil everywhere. But in India, everyone uses the pen.

I use a computer keyboard more than either, but I'm American and I use pens more than pencils. Writing made with a pen is easier to read, but pencils allow you to easily erase mistakes and are often required for filling out Scantron sheets.

I know what you mean. I actually type faster than I can write. And, you can tell by my handwriting that I don't get too much practice.

I prefer pen. Although i can remember when i was in junior school we all had to use pencil. i dont know why. Now a days though i would rather type something up than write it out because my hand writing isn't very neat! lol

i am an artist and i do a lot of drawing in 3d animation and so for that i need pencil a lot and so if you average it you will find that i use pencil more than pen casuse that is the kind of field i am in and so i need pencil more than pen. i harldly write anything

It depends on what you're writing. When signing documents or writing something we don't want changed, we use a pen. Some people use pens all the time. I prefer using a mechanical pencil a lot of the time.
