How come SuperBowl become so big

I was watchin Tv and some non-sport channel start to have coverage of superbowl but at the end it just a final game why we dont have da same movement for baseball or hockey or soccer except the woldcup why Superbowl became so big.. Why some people are just there for some Ads .. I just dont get it where does it start
