I dont know about hair but if you put clothing with bubblegum on it in the freezer the gum freezes and you can pick it off so if you could put ice on the place in your hair where the gum is untill it freezes you might be able to get it of without wrecking your hair.

ive never had the joy of getting bubble gum stuck in my hair lol. From what I hear Hairspray will dry up the gum and make it easier to pull out. Best of luck to you.

Getting bubblegum stuck in your hair can blow a perfectly good hair day. But, there is a way to get it out. Peanut Butter. Yup! The oils in peanut butter have been known to soften the gum so that you can loosen the gum and pull it out with your fingers or comb. Mayo and plain old butter work too. If all else fails, you'll have to resort to the old scissors trick and cut it out.Hope this helps.

I've heard that peanut butter works... I think it somehow breaks down the gum. You can also hold it between some ice for a while to harden it, and it should break apart then.
