Recently, i decided to go back to school and finish college while keeping my night job. i know it will be a bit tough for me but i really want to finish college in the hope of a better future.
i have started with the school application last week so i can start this march or april. its gonna be hard not only physically but also financially as i only earn 25,000 pesos ($500 USD)in a month. aside from the bills at home, i also need to pay for school. there will be a lot of sacrifices but i know it will be worth it.
last night when i was out with friends, someone offered me a job overseas. the salary is twice of what im getting here but i will be away from my family and friends. the contract is only for 6 months but can be renewed.
i am now unsure of what to do. if i leave and take the offer, i will be able to help support my family and have extra money for myself. but if i do, my dream of finishing college will have to wait.
i guess i just need some insights on what you guys do when you need to decide with things like this. any help will be greatly appreciated.

Your predicament may seems to be a bit tough but you can resole it with logic and reasoning. Here you have to decide first about your education. i understand that you are only 23 and there is a long way to go in life. In case you go abroad you may earn a bit extra but that would be temporary and you will be paid for your qualifications only. The job abroad is not something that would be vanish for ever. You can manage a job later also. If your family circumstances allow( you need to make sacrifices) I would advise you to continue studies and complete the college in some good and favorite subject that would definitely help you get a better job either inland or abroad.
I have advised many youngsters and their parents on these lines and all of them are happy about their decisions later. I came hard ways sacrificing food and clothing in the earlier days that made me what I am now.But the decisions are purely personal since only the wearer knows where the shoe pinches.Good luck.

thanks for the reply. i actualy feel the same way. im thinking taking the job offer will help me and my family now but if i stay with my job, and finish school it will be very beneficial in the long run.
i really like my job here and recently got promoted thats why i really find it hard to leave it. but when you are thinking of your family's future, i really cant help but think twice.
again, thank you for your insight on this.

You should think first of the benefits that your family would get, since your only 23 and still have more capabilitites than an educated one would have, then I think you should pursue first of the opportunity that is offered to you. Education will always be there for you, you can still pursue this until you grow older or whatever age you decide to, and have a degree of your own..
