What do you do when you can't get along with your brother?

Well my relationship with my brother is sort of hard to explain. he's going to be going off for college next fall, but at the same time he is in the nation gurad. Sometimes he can be a real drag, with life. he's always wanting to do everything with his friends because he's only excuse is that he won't be able to hang out with them in the summer. and sometimes that pisses me off alot. espically when it gets close to the end of the school year. what do you think i should do? i think that i should just do what he wants because he is going to be leaving but at the same time he's being a jackass. but for now things are okay.

I think you should do what he wants to do. Just because he's going to college, he can also be sent to Iraq. Don't let these few months of being mad at him be your last memories.
I used to have a bad relationship with my brother growing up. Now I give anything to have him back. 8 years ago my brother was murdered.
So please enjoy these moments, even if he's being a jackass. They wouldn't be called brother's if they didn't act that way.
