Seen any good quotes on a church sign lately?? What was it?? :-)

I love reading signs and quotes that are posted outside of churches. There's a couple of churches in my area that always have wise quotes on them. They are not always religious quotes, but also quotes about life. The one I seen this week was, "nothing ruins the truth like stretching it." Boy, do I know some people that applies to!! Anyway, I would like to know any quotes you may have seen outside of a church lately (doesn't have to be religious). Is this just a USA (or Michigan) based thing? Thanks for your reply!! :-)

Our church uptown has these signs and I like reading them when we go by. They are really inspiring and the truth too. I wish I could remember some of them but my memory is really bad. I haven't been up town in a few days but next time I go I will try to remember what it says and let you know. If I can remember to do that. :)

Well we were driving through town the other day and I remembered to look over at the church sign and the quote was, "Peace starts with a smile" I remembered seeing this one before and I have always liked it. They have so many great ones I wish I could remember them all. These quotes really get to me sometimes because they are so true to me. :)

I enjoy reading them too, and I forget almost everyone I see too, or I only remember it for a minute. As I told Shady, I had to remember this one several days in a row for my post!! Thanks for your reply!! :-)

You know I have seen some really cute ones, but for the life of me now I cannot remember them good enough to write down properly.
I have seen these quotes for years, and there is even one realtor I drive by that has the cute sayings on their sign. I have seen them all the way from Florida up to your state and over into the midwest.
I'll have to start paying better attention to them now so I can remember them later!

It's funny that you say this, because I had to drive by that same church 4 days in a row before I remembered the actual quote!! I finally repeated it all the way home, so I could do my post!! :-)
