being a dentist....its really the best to brush your teeth & keep it clean 3x a day....if you find it difficult to brush your teeth morning noon & night before you go to sleep, I suggest you brush it in the morning & in the evening before you sleep is the most important brushing to do. WHY? Because when we sleep, our salivary glands don't secrete that much saliva which serve as a buffering agent & washes away dirt plaque bacteria food debris etc. And without the saliva or if theres less saliva...then the more the bacteria (str.mutans) which cause plaque becomes many esp. also when you still got food in your mouth or stuck in between teeth which are also their food....thereby resulting in the weakening of your teeth which may cause it to have caries build up or weakened to fracture....
just remember
Time
Carbohydrates (sugars)
Microorganism (str.mutans)
hygiene
susceptible tooth
TIME - the longer you don't clean your teeth, the higher its susceptibility, the more the bacteria would grow many.
CHO ( sugars ) - the more sweet n sticky, themore the bacteria loves it, the more they secrete ACID which weakens your teeth & cause it to fracture or have caries build up....
If you can't do it 3x a day...then at least, gargle after you eat....swish, gargle & swallow hehehejoke SPIT ITS OUT i mean!!!
Hope that helped!!!

I always brush my teeth two times a day and sometimes more often. I never floss though, or at least very rarely. I suppose this is simply because it wasn't pushed on us as children to do it, therefore it never really became part of my routine. I know it is important but for whatever reason, I never seem to remember
include it in my nightly duties. Maybe now that I've answered this post though I will think of it tonight when I am brushing.
