*sigh* I'm not even married yet and I'm already having problems with my mother in law to be! I always laughed at the tv shows with the stereotypical nit picking, "you aren't good enough for my son!!" kind of mother in law, but honestly, this takes the cake! The stereotypes? In my case, TRUE! She isn't the worst, but I just know problems will arise...I hope some day she'll come around. :(
Any of you married/soon to be married ladies have any stories about having a nice mother in law/to be? Or better yet, a mother in law that was horrible to you, but came around eventually? Thank you! =)

I am not here for bad advice. Just try to keep your privacy and stay away as much as possible. I am divorced and my mother in law did everything to make it happen.
I wish to give you nice mother in law story but I don't have it. I wasn't the lucky one.

I am very lucky because I love my MIL! She is a wonderful person, she and I go out and have a girls day all the time. I think the key to any relationship is communication.
