First impression is really a last impression?

I don't agree on that. i think as time pass by your first impression on the people you've met will be chang until you get to know him better!

Yes it is right that whatever is your first impact on anybody whether it is job or a person that was your last impact because only on first impact on a person he will judge that how bascially you are.

i dont believe any thing at first sight ... after many meetings one can judge a person thats the impression of a person... which can not be at first

Good topic, but may i rephrase yours? we state it in our place as "First impression is lasting" which means that the impression people make the first time we meet them is the one that lingers in our mind UNTIL we fully get to know them. It is not actually final. But ocme to think of it. For example, a job applicant. He came for interview without even combing his or her hair.. so what impression would this person give to the interviewer? Wouldn't it leave a negative mark in this person's physical appearance alone? That's what we actually mean. It is not the last impression. It is lasting (not last thing)...until proven otherwise.
